Cin and I met with Barbara Hacker, his primary teacher at Post Oak. He is doing well. Very advanced on linguistics and reading, and very tender and sweet. She told us how he introduced her to Felicia when she brought him to the car the other day; and that when Felicia wrongly said something like, “I already met her,” Barbara saw a quizzical notion on Ethan’s face, because he knew she was wrong. She was quite stunned by it.
And he mooned the class the other day. Uhhh. Mommy thinks it’s Daddy’s fault for letting him skinny dip. Or be silly. Or something.
Tonight, we drove to pick up Maggie and Julie so Aunt Tricia and Uncle John could go to this gala thingy. So we went to Cleburne’s cafeteria; the girls were unhinged. AT home, they each watched their own DVD on their own TV. Then we played musical beds. Maggie and Ethan at first in one, Julie to be in another; but she joined them when Paw Paw was telling them a story. First Maggie conked out, then Jay-dog; finally EThan at about 10.
When I woke him at midnight or so to pee-pee, I asked if he wanted to go down with Mommy, so he said yes. A while later, Maggie awoke and was missing her mommy and daddy, so now she is down with Cindy and Ethan the the poodles. Julie is in Maggie and Ethan’s bed. I guess I’ll sleep in Ethan’s never-used bedroom.
