John Wax sent me a cool fossil with some small theropod footprints in it. The evidence indicates that it’s either a microraptor or a compsognathus. My best guess is it’s a compsognathus from the mid-Jurassic Period. I really like it! It has a little crack in it that indicates that the fossil originated from near a sea. It dates from 150 Million years ago. I know this because I did radio carbon 14 dating on it.
I really like the BBC America show Primeval. It’s about anomolies that open up to other times and dinosaurs and other strange creatures come through to our time, including future predators. Some British scientists have to try to figure it out. But episode 4 last night had a scary scene.
Yesterday, I went to Ananya’s birthday party at Pump-it-Up, where I had my party. We had fun!
I started school last week and like it.
Today is Sunday, and I have tomorrow off for Labor Day. My friend Seth might come spend the night tonight. We might go swimming, and maybe see the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth-3D with my mom and dad.
Also, hurricanes Gustav and Hanna are heading in. Gustav is heading right now toward Louisiana but we’ll probably catch a lot of rain at least.
