This has been a good summer for E. Let’s see: earlier this year, Spring Break, we went to Rosemary Beach with Misty and Mush and the boys. Meanwhile, E is taking piano lessons, and swim lessons twice a week–at first from beautiful Mary McNeely, and now from Marlena. Then, he had a couple weeks in KidVenture, till Mom and Dad jerked him out and put him back in Post Oak for summer school. Then in the summer we took him again to Rosemary Beach, when Amy and Tommy and crew went; he had a lot of fun and was very spoiled by all the attention. He just got back from a week with Maw Maw and Paw Paw in Louisiana, and starts the new school year Monday.

He’s more and more into dinosaurs, and is starting to draw a lot with crayons on his white paper pads. He can now print his name too. His reading ability is just wild. Today he has swimming lessons with Miss Marlena, and when I got home, he had already had his bath, but still wanted to go swimming again. So, we did, and then he had a long shower and I read him some animal poems, and Paw Paw told him a good night story. Mom was already asleep. Good grief. That boy is having a time.
